For SCADA applications in power, natural gas, heat or water plants, a new micro device net-line FW-5 was developpped, providing the same performance as it's bigger brothers in series5, FW-50. The sustainable field device in a compact top-hat rail housing includes all components for monitoring, control, logging and transmission of a powerfull telecontrol or substation automation system; all in beneficial and space saving conditions.
Due to it's easy configuration via setITV4, the wireless link with Bluetooth® and the fast set-up via USB-Memorystick or SD-Karte, the Micro-RTU net-line FW-5 sets a new milestone in the segment of field devices.
The maintenace free high-performance field device is well equipped. It supports 8 wide range information inmputs, 4 Relay commands as well as two 16 Bit mesurand inputs. On board are Ethernet LAN interface 10/100BaseTx, RS-232/V24 and RS-485. The capacity may be expanded via I/O-extension boards.
